Jane studied Figurative Sculpture at Stafford College, Staffordshire. Starting out in professional theatre and television as a prop maker, she now works solely to commission creating figurative sculpture from her home based studio in Staffordshire.
Jane established her private sculpture studio in 1998. As a figurative sculptor, she is passionate about not only the human figure and its celebration in 3D form, but the production of lasting, inspirational sculptures embracing traditional craftsmanship and sculptural skills and technique.
All Jane’s work is cast at Castle Fine Art Foundry, Llanrhaedr, Near Oswestry, Wales.Her resin casts are created at her studio in Staffordshire and all her work is fully insured and installed to site by Jane and her team.
Since 1998, Jane has taught sculpture workshops within schools, colleges and community settings. She has worked with all age groups, from early years playgroups to Senior Citizens in care homes and hospitals where she relishes the opportunity to share her passion for figurative sculpture.
She regularly exhibits her work at fine art galleries throughout the UK plus outdoor summer sculpture shows.
